Overview
This project will support one or more under-resourced community clinics by providing medical supplies and awareness materials and organizing a health day outreach that combines malaria treatment, maternal care, and drug abuse education, a growing but often silent crisis in rural Nigeria.
Objectives:
- Strengthen one primary health center with basic equipment or medicine.
- Educate at least 100 community members on malaria, sanitation, and drug abuse.
- Encourage early intervention, especially among youth.
Key Activities:
- Clinic Needs Assessment: Partner with local health workers to identify gaps in medication, equipment, or sanitation.
- Procurement & Support Delivery: Provide items like patient beds, weighing scales, malaria RDT kits, among others.
- Health Day Outreach: Free consultations, drug awareness talk; Mosquito net or hygiene kit giveaway.
